Replacing Retired Legacy Solutions

Microsoft retired several older extensibility models in 2026. Since April 2, 2026, SharePoint Add-Ins, domain-isolated web parts and sign-in via Azure ACS no longer work in SharePoint Online. Since July 14, 2026, SharePoint Server 2016 and 2019 as well as InfoPath are out of support. We rebuild affected solutions on the current platform:

• Rebuilding SharePoint Add-Ins as SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions
• Converting domain-isolated web parts to regular web parts
• Moving sign-in from Azure ACS to Microsoft Entra ID
• Replacing InfoPath forms with custom SPFx forms
• Bringing custom user interfaces from SharePoint Server 2016 and 2019 to SharePoint Online or Subscription Edition

We start with an inventory of your legacy solutions. After that you receive a binding offer for each solution.

One Codebase for SharePoint, Teams and Web

The user interface is built with Angular and packaged as a web component. The same building blocks then run in several environments:

• SPFx web parts for SharePoint Online
• Teams tabs based on the same web part
• Standalone web app for users without SharePoint
• One design system for all modules, light and dark
• Taking over existing SPFx code written in React or Angular, bringing it up to date and extending it

Sign-in, Data and Privacy

What makes an application viable in a company is rarely the user interface:

• Sign-in via Microsoft Entra ID with MSAL, optionally with passkeys
• Exchangeable data layer: SharePoint lists, PostgreSQL or SQL Server
• Microsoft Graph for calendar and organization data
• Separated tenants and a data-minimizing architecture with GDPR in mind

When an internal solution is to become a product, we guide the way there:

• Publication on Microsoft AppSource including certification
• Licensing and billing via Stripe
• Setup wizard for new tenants
• Telemetry with OpenTelemetry and Azure Application Insights
